Chat with JA Tonight

I'll be doing a live chat about publishing tonight at Writing to Publish.

It's at 10pm Eastern Time, 9pm Central Standard Time, and and hour or two earlier if you're out west someplace.

You need AIM or AOL to join in the fun. AIM is free at

Here are the links to the room:

We'll be chatting for about 2 hours about writing and publishing. CWI and CUI will be encouraged, if not mandatory.

Hope to see some of you there, asking me deep and probing qustions such as:

Is it important to self-promote?

Where do you get your ideas?

You forgot: "I have this great idea- if I share it with you will you write it up and we'll split the profits."

Ha ha to all of you blog readers who didn't join us last night (though some of us came late to the party -- new to chat protocol and all that *blush*). Ya'll missed a great chat!

Thanks JA. You are a card, and a true wit. It was a pleasure. :-)

For those of us who were to busy (i.e. lazy) to take part, is there a transcript somewhere we could read?

heh. I wasn't too lazy. Computer things like AIM stymy me.

Jason: you can request a transcript of the chat from the Write 2 Publish administrator (or, as I learned, a "log" -- heh). The e-mail address, and I'll spell it out so spam-bots don't get it, is W2PSushi at aol dot com.

Here's hoping that doesn't get me in trouble. :-)

Computer things like AIM styme me, too. Can't you just go on Charlie Rose next time, Joe?
