To promote my horror novel, AFRAID, which debuts March 31, I'm appearing on a different blog every single day in March.
Please follow my daily journey, and broaden your blog-reading horizons.
Today, I'm over at romance author's Beth Ciotta's blog. As befitting such a setting, the entry is about sex.
Did that get your attention?

Joe-
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you have your month mapped out, but if you need a stop let me know. I know I can get your name out to some soon to be fans....:-)
Joe,
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, I'd never heard of you before today(sorry) but now I'm going to go buy your books and start at the beginning. I REALLY enjoyed the visual of you standing in front of a bunch of romance fans reading your first sex scene in this series aloud.
I feel like I'm following a trail of breadcrumbs this week, Gayle Carline sent me to you, and I had found Beth at Lee Goldberg's blog , and now I have your site to explore as well. Fun.
My book has some sex in it, but I knew my daughter was gonna read it, so it's somewhat toned down...
I've sold a couple of pieces of erotic fiction (not under my own name), but I wouldn't let anyone who knows me and who wasn't naked in my bed read them. LOL It reveals a LOT about your own tastes when you write a sex scene don't cha think? Interesting.....
thanks for the morning jolt...
Karen :0-)

ReplyDeleteHi Joe,
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected. You may never even have HAD sex, you just have an amazing imagination.
I bought Dirty Martini yesterday and I can't put it down.
I apparently forgot for a moment in my previous post that as writers we might draw a bit from our own experience, but our characters aren't us, or even versions of us.
Unless you're really a psycho terrorist in disguise laughing up your sleeve at the feds by writing books about your crimes.
Logging off now to finish the book.
Thanks for Jack...she's awesome.
