Would you like to write a blurb for Dirty Martini, the fourth Jack Daniels book?
My publisher is sending out a small number of bound manuscripts to booksellers, to get their opinions. If you enjoy the book, we'd love to print your words in the ARC for other booksellers to read.
Email me at haknort@comcast.net with your name, bookstore, and address, if you're interested.

"Booksellers rock."
Yeah we do. Big time.
On an unrelated note, didn't you used to be a bookseller?
Indeed I was a bookseller. In a very real way, I still am. I'm just a bit more, uh, selective in what I sell these days.
Jeez -- shouldn't your publicist or marketing person be handling things like this?
Anon--If you think your publicist has more bookstore contacts than you do, you're living in a fantasy land.
I've had three publicists in three years. Each of them was new when they started with me. Plus, each of them had many authors to publicize, from many different genres.
I've met close to 2000 booksellers. I'd bet the average publicist has only met a fraction of that number.
Besides, you should never rely on someone else to do what you can do better on your own.
