Congratulations, Joe! That is such a great achievement. (Which, of course, sucks for the rest of us. From now on, any author's plans that includes fewer than 500 stores will be laughed off as "quaint.")
Just got my new Writer’s Digest in, with an article on book tours. Please. This is what a book tour is all about: 500 stores, 10,000 miles and the perseverance of one man. Joe, you are a book tour god.
PS. If you can swing by Hawaii next year, I’ll drive you around.
Thanks to all for the tremendous amount of support you've shown, both in words and in deeds. I couldn't have hit 500 all by myself. You guys are awesome.
I'm officially home, and officially very tired. After a few days off, I'll recap the tour so far.
I say "so far" because I'll hit another 100 stores in the Midwest in September.
Are you homeward bound? You totally rock.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a feat! I hope you are relaxing with a nice drink somewhere today.
