Where's Konrath? Blog Tour Day #5

To promote my horror novel, AFRAID, which debuts March 31, I'm appearing on different blogs every single day in March.

Please follow my daily journey, and broaden your blog-reading horizons.

Over past few days I've talked about my favorite horror books, getting rejection letters, writing sex scenes, and I revealed my top ten editing tips.

First stop today is at Gabrielle Harbowy's blog, Gabrielle.Edits, where I share what every writer needs to know about working with an editor, and reveal my super secret power.

Then I visit Kathleen McDade over at TechnoEarthMama, where we discuss why I used a pseudonym, parenting, and free Ebooks.

Finally, an unscheduled tour stop. If you can't wait until March 31st to get your copy of AFRAID, or if you're broke and can't come up with $6.99, Ali Karim and J. Kingston Pierce are giving away free copies at The Rap Sheet.

If you win a copy, help me out and review it someplace. Time Magazine would be nice, but I'd be thrilled if you could review it anywhere online.

  2. Joe, you are such a tease. Off I went to the blog to win a free copy of Afraid only to get to the end and find it isn't open to people from the UK! Ah well.

So, intrigued by the sex post yesterday, I ordered the first Jack Daniels book instead.

I have only recently changed my genre from women's fiction to crime fiction, that's why I came across your blog. I didn't realise that although you were trying to get published for twelve years, that you had so many books out. Did you start to write when you were five?!

  3. Thanks so much for stopping by, Joe!

And thanks for telling folks to listen to their editors. You can come back to my blog and say that again anytime!

  4. Thanks for visiting my blog yesterday. It was a huge success! Witnessing your incredible prolificacy brings to mind two questions:

    1)Do you sleep?
2)Do you have a laptop stapled to each hand?

  5. Sheila is close to being saved. We've sold about 100 ebooks.

The problem is now I'm wondering if I should save her, or replace her. :(

  7. Joe, I am loving the Crazy Tuesday audio blog. I'm imagining many wrinkled brows as your host is trying to decide if you're serious or not.

  8. I always have fun doing radio. I keep threatening to start podcasting, but I think people would be afraid to be interviewed by me.
