Congratulations! What a feat! I hope you are relaxing with a nice drink somewhere today.

I can only imagine what you'll think of to top this in the future...

Congrats Joe,

I have this saying with my kids...
I say to them, YOU ROCK, and they say back to me, YOU RULE. then we switch it around the other way.

It is a shame you did not make it out to california, but I have hope for next year.

Well done Joe K -

I read your story in Thriller last night and was impressed.

Take a long hot soak in the tub and enjoy your family

Congratulations, Joe! That is such a great achievement. (Which, of course, sucks for the rest of us. From now on, any author's plans that includes fewer than 500 stores will be laughed off as "quaint.")

And then some. Way to go, Joe!

You do indeed! So does the book! And thanks for the stop in Champaign. Scott is still talking about it ;o)

You deserve a stadium's worth round of applause, Joe. And a vat of port.
Major congrats for hitting that goal!!!

GO JOE GO!!!

Just got my new Writer’s Digest in, with an article on book tours. Please. This is what a book tour is all about: 500 stores, 10,000 miles and the perseverance of one man. Joe, you are a book tour god.

PS. If you can swing by Hawaii next year, I’ll drive you around.

What? No North Dakota? What a quitter.

Seriously though, congrats, go home and rest.

Thanks to all for the tremendous amount of support you've shown, both in words and in deeds. I couldn't have hit 500 all by myself. You guys are awesome.

I'm officially home, and officially very tired. After a few days off, I'll recap the tour so far.

I say "so far" because I'll hit another 100 stores in the Midwest in September.

It ain't over till it's over.
